Carlinville Primary School houses prek through second grade. There are two sections of prek, five sections of kindergarten and first grade four sections of second grade Enrollment this year is 376 students.
Curriculum focuses heavily on reading, writing and math in alignment to New Illinois Learning Standards. Science and Social Studies are also taught at the Primary School.
